Idaho Tax Credit
Idaho has a unique tax credit opportunity specifically for contributions to schools. Gifts to Sacred Heart Catholic School qualify for a 50% tax credit (a reduction in the actual tax you owe). If you itemize your taxes, a donation to Sacred Heart allows income tax deductions on your state and federal returns, plus a 50% Idaho income tax credit for up to $500 for individuals and $1000 for couples filing jointly.
Idaho Married Couples filing jointly may take up to 50 percent of a $2,000 gift (a tax credit of $1,000)
Idaho Individuals may take up to 50 percent of a $1,000 gift (a tax credit of $500)
Idaho Corporations may take up to 50 percent of a $10,000 gift (a tax credit of $5,000)
To maximize the impact of the Idaho education tax credit, consider a multi-year pledge. A gift of $10,000, given in increments of $2,000 per year over five years, would be an actual cost of only $1,720 during this entire five-year period.

If you work for a company with a matching gift program, your employer may match your gift to Sacred Heart School, effectively doubling your gift!

Angel Fund
The Angel Fund was established to help give as many children as possible a quality Catholic school education. Since 2008, the Sacred Heart Angel Fund has provided tuition assistance awards to families with demonstrated need. Through the generosity of supporters of Sacred Heart School and the Father Riffle Scholarship Fund, it has made it possible for children and their families to be part of the Sacred Heart School educational community and to experience the gift of Catholic education.
In the 2019-2020 academic year, Sacred Heart Catholic School’s Angel Fund awarded over $50,000 to approximately 20 students who received a tuition assistance award this year.
Your support of the Angel Fund will give boys and girls the opportunity to receive an academically excellent education and instill Catholic values that will stay with them throughout their entire lives. This is what makes Sacred Heart School a lifelong investment and an investment guaranteed to grow.
The Angel Fund, with your support, will help make up the difference between the cost of tuition and what an individual family can afford to pay. With increased tuition assistance, more families will be able to stay in our Catholic schools and more families will consider Sacred Heart for their children. And, by increasing enrollment through tuition assistance, you will be helping to sustain Sacred Hearth Catholic School into the future.

Raise Right
The Sacred Heart Raise Right Program (formerly SCRIP) was founded in 1997 as a supplemental fundraising activity for Sacred Heart Catholic School. This program allows Sacred Heart Catholic School to receive a portion of the purchase price of gift certificates from hundreds of national participating retailers. The Raise Right program was implemented to reduce the necessity of Sacred Heart students having to engage in additional fundraising activities. The money generated by this program helps keep Sacred Heart tuition costs down, and allows our children to maintain focus on their education. The minimum Raise Right purchase commitment, per family, is $1000 for the current school year. If a family chooses to waive their commitment, they may pay $500 at registration to fulfill this obligation.
